Just a few do's and don'ts on how to request pictures from the site:
Do
- State the name of the show from the site, and provide the link to the gallery/match if possible.
- State the IMG_ file name of the particular image concerned.
- Add yourself to piclist@britishwrestlingpictures.com. New pictures (small images) are e-mailed out on a regular basis to members on the list when ready. If you are on Facebook - add yourself to the BritishWrestlingPictures.com facebook group for updates when pictures are updated.
Don't
- Request "I want all pictures that you have of me e-mailed". This can take a lot of time, and bandwidth to distribute. If you wish to have a disc of pictures, this can be done, for a small fee to cover costs for time and materials.
- Message myself or Chris on MSN to request pictures - please e-mail all requests to piclist@britishwrestlingpictures.com
- Cut copyrights off of images. The images are copyright to myself and are covered by the 1988 Copyright Act - details of this act can be found on the following page: http://ahds.ac.uk/copyrightfaq.htm and http://www.copyright.gov/
- Distribute full sized images without my permission. As stated above, these images are protected by copyright. If an image is needed by a company for promotional material, please ask the promotion to contact me directly on piclist@britishwrestlingpictures.com.
